I cannot praise Shenton and his team enough, i purchased a large 18th Century Chapel with planning permission to convert into 3 residential units and commissioned SL Foreman Building to carry out the renovation works. The job was a very complicated one, Grade II listed and in a conservation area. As you can imagine a conversion of this size was a project full of problems but Shenton and his team got over every single situation that presented itself with speed, and professionalism. The Chapel once finished was absolutely outstanding and as my Architect said ‘some of the best work I have ever seen’. SL Foreman comes highly recommended by me.

Shenton (S.L. Foreman Building) undertook extensive works on our 1960′s bungalow. He converted part of the loft into a bedroom which included lowering the floor to give extra height in the loft room. He then create4d an exceptional new downstairs bathroom and an en-suite bathroom to a further bedroom. This included all the plumbing work, underfloor heating, all electrics, carpentry and decoration. All works were completed to a very high standard. The tiling to both bathrooms was outstanding and included construction of fixed units to take concealed toilet cisterns and inset sinks. To top it all he created a new oak balcony and terrace to the back of our property which looks fantastic. Shentons price was very competitive and you could tell when talking to him he had taken a significant amount of time to price the job up accurately. Shenton himself project manages his works, his men and materials turn up on time and they basically just get on with it. They are completely trustworthy and if they run into problems they simply sort it out with the minimum of fuss. I can thoroughly recommend SL Foreman Building and will certainly be using them on any future building works.

WE are very pleased with our bathroom transformation. The level of care and quality of work was to a standard that we was looking for and I consider myself quite fussy! Before starting the job Tracy and Shenton were more than happy to answer my questions in detail and fill me with confidence that everything would be done just right. Jason arrived early every day and we discussed any ongoing issues. He did a great installation of the wall mixer and pipework into the walls and flooring so there was no visible plumbing. The tiling layout was carefully considered whereas i thin k some people would have just slapped them on , details like this were greatly appreciated. The work areas were always cleaned up at the end of the day and as we only have one bathroom, we were always left with a toilet. Shenton made sure that the job was fully completed and any snagging was sorted out at the end. With the competitive price and quality of work and service I would definately recommend SL Foreman Building and we may well have more work done in the future.

They completed the job cleanly and quickly, leaving me with beautiful flat plastered ceilings.
